Medway Mediation
1. To provide a free, impartial and confidential services to help people involved in disputes in the Medway Towns.
2. To reduce the potential of violence, harrassment, stress and tension within the community.
3. To promote, for the public benefit and for the better preservation of public order, the provision of Mediation services for persons, organisations, authorities or groups in the area covered by Medway Council, involved in or likely to become involved in dispute or inter-personal conflict where that dispute or conflict results from or may lead to acts of nuisance, vandalism, racial abuse, unlawful activity, breach of the peace or breakdown of public order, and to advance the education of the public in the said area in the purposes and methods of mediation and in particular in the nature and causes of such disputes or conflicts.
